When you pick up a book written by Isobel you know you will not be disappointed and this is no exception.
Emma's Tapestry once more earns Isobel a 5 star rating from me.
There are so many subjects touched upon in this book. It keeps you gripped from the first page to the last.
There is a fantastic latter from Oscar Wilde's to Adela,an elderly Jewish heiress with a amazing story to tell. Then there is Emma Mennonite (a trained nurse) who's faith, fears, dangers and insecurities are all put to the test by the onset of world war 2.
The book also touches the subjects of anti-German feelings,mediums and spiritualism, and the feelings of ,mediums and spiritualism, and the feelings of divide between the rich and the poor.
